2. Payment information
All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your card number, CVV, or full payment details on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data. We store only a Stripe Customer ID and payment status records to support refunds, receipts, and dispute resolution. See stripe.com/privacy for details.
3. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account
- To process drink purchases and issue refunds
- To deliver push notifications when someone sends you a drink
- To help you find friends using the app via contact matching — phone numbers are hashed before comparison and never stored in plain text beyond your session

- To detect and prevent fraud or misuse
- To improve and develop the App (aggregated, de-identified analytics only)
- To comply with legal obligations
5. The chalkboard (public activity feed)
When you send a drink, a short activity entry (e.g., "Will sent a 🍺 Negroni at The Violet Hour") may appear on the social activity feed visible to your confirmed friends and, at venues that opt in, on a public chalkboard display inside the venue. You can disable this in Settings. Drink notes and private messages are never shown publicly.
6. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information is deleted within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes — for example, transaction records may be kept for up to 7 years per US tax law.
